Saving and Opening Training Files
For easy handling, save files in either format to your hard drive. Just right-click on the desired link and then left-click
on "Save Target As" or "Save File As", depending upon the browser you're using. You will then get a Save As dialog box where you can navigate to the hard drive folder location of
your choice and then save the file.
The PowerPoints With Video are in .ZIP file format and will need a decompression/expansion program (such as WinZip, PKZip, etc.) to expand
them after download. Windows XP will also expand the .ZIP file if you follow all the steps: Click on the downloaded .ZIP file.
Windows will open the file in a folder listing all the files -- but these are not fully compressed yet and will not function correctly!. To make sure they do, to the left under Folder Tasks, click on the blue link, Extract All Files. This will open the Windows Extraction Wizard. Click Next and verify where you want the expanded files to end up on your local drive. Click Next through the process, then click Finish. If you had clicked the box, Show Extracted Files during the process, the PROPERLY extracted files will then open in a folder. These files will now function correctly.
