If you don't see the "Play with PowerDVD" option...
If you're not seeing the "Play with Your Resident DVD Software" option because for some reason your computer is not recognizing the resident software on your computer. Here's what you can do:
1. Double-click on My Computer and right-click on the DVD-ROM drive icon (this is the one in which you have inserted the DVD).
2. Left-click on the Open option. This will open a folder where all the DVD files are stored.

3. Double-click on the VIDEO_TS folder and then double-click on the VTS_01_0.VOB file at left. This should bring up the Working Fire Training Menu (with the moving background) where you can choose to play the video or access the training materials.
This is a really annoying procedure to go through, so to avoid it next time, make a Windows Shortcut of the VTS_01_0.VOB file and park it on your Desktop for easy access.
1. To make a Shortcut, right-click on the VTS_01_0.VOB file, and from the menu that pops up, left-click on Create Shortcut.
2. You will then probably get a message saying that Windows cannot create a Shortcut there and do you want to create it on the Desktop? Click Yes and the Shortcut will be created there.
3. Try it -- go to your Windows Desktop and double-click the new Shortcut and it will take you directly to the Working Fire Training Menu on the DVD mentioned above -- without you having to open all those folders to get there.
Please call 800-516-3473 if you're still having problems. We apologize for the inconvenience.
