"Jump-Start" Program:

Working Fire Training has been a valuable video training resource for thousands of subscribing fire departments across North America. For over 15 years, WFT and the University of Cincinnati Fire Science program have been partnering to give firefighters and prospective fire science students an alternative way to earn their Associates and Bachelors degrees.

See a sample Working Fire Training program and a Kramer vs. Kramer debate!
Or go to workingfire.com and click the Sample Program link.

Here's how the program works:

1.  We send you 22 hour-long Working Fire Training programs, including
the 2-minute “Kramer vs. Kramer” debate on each program.

2.  View the programs and answer the three questions posed by Professor
      Kramer.

3.  Submit your answers from each program for one (1) credit-hour toward
your degree...up to 22 credit-hours...and save 66% off those hours!
     View 22 programs – get 22 credits!

4.  Pursue the remainder of your Associates or Bachelors degree.
(The University can supply you with all the details about their degree programs).

Budget Billing:

22 credit hours at the University of Cincinnati would normally cost $5775.00. Through the Jump-Start program, you pay only $1999.00 (if paid in full)!  OR…you can pay four (4) easy installments of $549.73 – INTEREST-FREE!  Personal check or any major credit card is accepted.

Hundreds of firefighters have received their Associates and Bachelors degrees via this program. For the first time, it is now being made available to ANY prospective student toward a degree in Fire Science at the University of Cincinnati – even if you’re not affiliated with a subscribing department!

Prerequisites:

To Enroll:

To enroll in the University of Cincinnati Open Learning Fire Science degree program, you need to have your high school and/or college transcripts evaluated. Go here for more details on the UC Fire Science Program. Call Working Fire Training toll-free at 800-516-3473 for more details about the Jump-Start program.

Theoretically, by this time next week, you could have already earned your first 22 credit-hours!

Subscriber Department Program:

Members of Working Fire Training subscribing departments may also earn Continuing Education credits toward their Associates or Bachelors degree by watching Working Fire Training programs. All you do is watch the "Kramer vs. Kramer" education segment and answer the questions posed by Professor and Chief Bill Kramer at the University. Submit your essay answers from each program for one (1) credit towards your degree. Call us for information about having your transcripts reviewed if you have prior course work or to find out about enrolling in the University of Cincinnati's Open Learning Fire Science program.
