WFT/On-Demand:
Working Fire Training now available via download or stream

Working Fire Training can now deliver its monthly video training program: on-demand over the internet.

Designed for larger departments that have multiple station houses or remote training centers with broadband internet service, subscribers who enroll in WFT/On-Demand, will have the choice of either downloading the monthly programs by segment or by viewing them via a video stream.

This delivery option begins to make sense for departments with remote stations/training locations and volunteer departments. Now if volleys can't make the meetings, they can log on from home and get the same material you're presenting in the training room!

Working Fire Online Training forges partnership with
Chalk Media

Fire departments and mutual aid groups may now train together online in a distance learning/web portal format. Working Fire Training has joined forces with Chalk Media of Canada, creators of chalkboardTM a learning content management system where a variety of media can be introduced into the learning environment.

chalkboard911 is a system not just designed for larger departments. Smaller departments may band together (training associations or mutual aid partners, for example) and enroll in this system while sharing the costs. There are also options available where you can design your own training or convert training you've already created to the chalkboard911 system.

WFT has converted its lengendary RIT series to DVD for distribution as a
4-disc set. Disc 1 tells how to set RIT up in your department and how to organize and staff it. Discs 2 and 3 contain every skill drill you can think of to become proficient at RIT. Also includes training guides in .PDF format for every segment.
